The Historic city of Chester is just a few miles from the Touring Park, and it has plenty to offer visitors. Chester is a 2,000 year old city and is the most complete walled city in Britain. Places of interest include Chester Zoo, Northgate Arena and Chester Racecourse.

The Cathedral, which attracts over one million visitors a year has been a place of worship for over one thousand years and was founded as a Benedictine monastery. Entry to the Cathedral is free making it well worth a visit.
